During the fifteen years that he studied at Radin, Rabbi Shmuel Walkin Z"L accumulated an invaluable amount of ideas and teachings that he collected from his great teacher, the Chofetz Chaim Z"L. After his marriage to the granddaughter of the Rosh Yeshiva of Radin, Rabbi Moshe Londiski Z"L; and having survived the Holocaust thanks to his miraculous escape to Shanghai with the Yeshiva of Mir, he behaved until his death in 1979, as a father to all the refugees in Shanghai and years later to all those in New York.
