There is nothing more individual than choosing a level of religious practice, especially in our day, where access to information and new ways of thinking are so readily available. This situation creates a great difficulty: different heads sharing the same house. Husbands seeking a different education for the children than the one the wife wants; parents see their children not obeying their will and following the will of rabbis; children who learn Torah hidden from their parents; or who fight with religious parents because it seems important to open up to the world; desperate parents when they see their children stray from the path of Torah. A tremendous confusion never seen in Jewish homes.
