The Taanit treatise deals fundamentally with the laws of fasting. The main fasts were prescribed by the prophets as a result of the misfortunes that occurred to the people of Israel at the time of the destruction of the temples. This edition contains the original in Hebrew with a Spanish translation, with Rashi and Tosafot's commentary.
