Segulot and gray tefilot

In its popular sense, the word "segula" generally refers to specific words or acts whose purpose, in some way, is to contribute to the remedy or cure of some problem in the body or soul of the person. What is important is not the act itself, but the faith and trust that the individual has in the Creator.
