Between the symbols of Judaism , it is unavoidable to mention the Shabbat and the holy convocations —solemn festivities—, as well as Rosh Hashana Y Yom Kippur. And both the Shabbat and the holy convocations have their characteristic symbols. Those of the Shabbat are the cup of kiddush wine, the candles and the braided bread. On the Sukkot festival we find the hut and the four species (the date palm, the citron, the myrtle branches and the willow branches). the holiday of Pesach has the unleavened bread. And the same for each of the other holy convocations.
Both the Shabbat and the holy convocations are called "Signs in the Torah", to which should be added the pact of circumcision and phylacteries. This is how the set of Signs of the Torah is formed, which the Rabbi Schlezinger discover and analyze in this book, attending to its details and peculiarities, explaining the symbolism corresponding to each one of them.
